Payments Trough The Nerdeo Platfrom Through PayPal Or Bank Transfer Worldwide
Nerdeo pays 30 days from invoice issue. On short-term commercial projects we bill weekly and on longer term commercial projects we bill bi-weekly or twice a month.
Setting Up Your PayPal Payment Details:1. Go to your Dashboard > Settings > Payments
2. Link your PayPal account under the “Payment Details” section. Your PayPal email will be saved and any payments will be made from this account. If in the future you decide to work as an artist, any payments made to you, will be received by this account.
Setting Up Your Invoice Details:
As a company or individual, you should fill out your billing details on your settings page. This will then autopopulate any future invoices coming your way with the correct details.
1. Dashboard > Settings > Invoice Details
2. Fill out your details including your VAT rate and number if applicable.
3. Click “Change” to save the details.
4. Alternatively, you can edit the invoice details when it comes your way if the details are incorrect.
Receiving An Invoice
Artsist need to send you an invoice for you to proceed with payment.- Login to you Dashboard > Accounts
- Under the heading “Payouts” you will see the status of all the payments that need to get made for your artists.
- If an invoice is ready, you will have received a notification via email and you will be able to view it under the “Action” tab, together with the payment button that will take you to your PayPal payment portal.
- If an invoice is “Pending”, then you should message the artist and request the invoice.
- If the invoice has been paid you can download it from here.
Requesting An Invoice
If your artist has not requested an invoice, message them directly and ask them to send you an invoice.Paying Via PayPal
- Firstly make sure you have setup your PayPal payment details as outlined above.
- Go to Dashboard > Accounts > Payouts
- Under the “Action” tab for your project click on “Pay Now”
- Once the payment has been made successfully, the status of the role will change to “Paid” in your accoutn page.

As an artist on nerdeo you will get paid for your role on budgeted Indie and Commercial projects as advertised per the role. At the moment we offer PayPal payment gateway, which is popular with indie projects, and simple bank transfer. With larger commercial projects, that have been posted by the Nerdeo Plus team, it is more typical that an invoice is sent through our system with your bank details, as you would on a normal freelance job. Sending An Invoice
To invoice the project owner once you’ve finished your role:- Go to Dashboard > Accounts
- Under the “Income” heading chose the project you want to invoice for.
- Click “Send Invoice”
4. The create and send invoice will appear. You can either populate it with yours and the project owners details OR it will autofill if the project owner and yourslef have filled out your billing details previously under Settings > Invoice Details.

If you are working on a Commercial Project and the value of that project is higher than £1500 we will ask you to invoice Nerdeo Plus with your bank details as you would on a freelance gig. Bank transfer will reduce fees on both sides.You can add your details here:- Go to Dashboard > Accounts
- Under the “Income” heading chose the project you want to invoice for.
- Click “Send Invoice”.
OR
- Go to Dashboard > Projects & Messages
- Find or search for the project you need to invoice for and click on the envelope to go to the project dashboard:
- Go to Billing on the project menu and click “Send Invoice”.
- Under the “Additional Comments” secton at the bottom of the pop-up, add your bank details there. This should include IBAN and swift if you are based outside the UK.
- Always check the automatic amount that appears in your invoice pop-up. This is a rough estimate based on the days proposed for the job. This could vary if you have missed any days or started at a later date, etc.
